Every reusable computer, phone, or tablet received by Ecycle for Good gets a Digital Device Passport (DDP).
A DDP is a unique webpage that provides documentation that your device was received, safely wiped of data, and responsibly reused or recycled.

Proof of Receipt
Each DDP provides a detailed report with essential information such as the manufacturer, model, serial number, processor, RAM, storage specifications, and inspection status.
This gives proof that your device was received, tested and processed.
Proof of Data Destruction
We use industry-leading data erasure software to securely wipe all drives and generate verifiable certificates of data destruction, which is recorded on the DDP.
Wipe logs can even be recorded on the Ethereum blockchain, creating a tamper-proof, permanent record of each data destruction event.
Donation and Asset Disposition Reports
The data in your DDP can be used to generate itemized tax write-off documentation reports and disposition reports for your company.
Accurate Valuation
Each passport includes data like hardware specifications and condition, which is used to determine fair resale value, much like a Carfax report for electronics.
NFT Tokenization
Devices can be tokenized as NFTs, enabling secure digital ownership tracking and authenticity verification.

HOW IT WORKS
- Submit the Intake Form – The form tells us how many devices will be received.
- Receive DDPs – You will receive links to DDPs for each device that you plan to send in.
- Device Processing – Upon receipt, custom software captures detailed hardware information and securely wipes all data. This information is used to complete the DDP.
- Confirmation – A list of DDPs is sent to you — providing complete transparency and proof of responsible handling.
